Dr's do go by a 28 day cycle to get an approximate due date... if you know that your girl has a 30 day cycle (which by the way, is a very common cycle length) then just assume that you concieved 2 days later that what the dr. is guessing. Being babies usually come sometime around the due date.. both of your guesses will be pretty accurate but your may be a better educated guess. The reason your cycle length matters is a women typically ovulates 14 days BEFORE her expected period... this is when conception can occur. About mid-cycle. But after you concieve, the two weeks prior to conception (starting from when the last period started) are counted as weeks of pregnancy... kinda strange i know, but by doing this, they are more accurate when guessing a due date.

Make sense?

conception means when the sperm fertilize the egg.. the sperm are tiny and they have a long way to go so it could take them a few days to get where they are going

There is a good video out called "The Miracle of Life" , it is kind of old, but it is very good. Shows all of that. Conception is really a miracle when you see all that those little sperm have to go through to get to the egg and then all that the egg has to do to implant itself. Good Luck

Hm, well, mine always hurt about 3 dpo until AF starts. AF was due 4 days ago and I got a faint positive this morning, but the sore breasts have definitely waned over the past few days. They only hurt if I press on them or sleep on them. Try not to pay too close attention to those symptoms. My body has tricked me every month since we started TTC. If this test is a false positive that will be the ultimate trick and I will officially want to give up TTC.

Neither causes sterility.

Group Beta Strep is actually a type of bacteria that normally lives in your intestinal tract, it can move from one location to another and continue to live without any signs or symptoms (just so you know the vagina is not a sterile environment, yeast and bacteria live there normally but in small amounts that you can not tell.)

If you are Group B Strep positive and you deliver a baby vaginally can the child be at risk of getting the bacteria and infection. When you are pregnant your doctor should test you again at 35 weeks for the bacteria. If it is positive, they will give you antibiotics in labor to protect the baby as it passes through the birth canal.

The ureaplasm is a microorganism that you get from sex, and without treatment it can cause the baby to have low birth weight or it can cause an infection in the baby.
