Do You Want to Know Everything About pregnancy and miscarriage?

I really enjoyed reading this interesting article on pregnancy and miscarriage. Sometimes finding quality and informative information regarding miscarriage in pregnancy can be quite tricky, and I hope you find this information somewhat helpful, I know I did. :-)

Conceiving Soon after Miscarriage

Author: Maggie Tan

Partners are usually very anxious regarding getting pregnant after miscarriage. They worry about the prospect of the new pregnancy and some will even delay trying to conceive after miscarriage until they can determine a way to stop miscarriage.

Unfortunately, most factors behind miscarriages are unknown so doctors cannot provide specific solutions that can stop miscarriage. Even so, substitute natural fertility therapy, especially Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) reported persuading outcomes that stop miscarriage in ladies.

Preconception consideration is the basic principles in Traditional Chinese medicine. It goes deeper than balance diet program and frequent workout routines.

Study has proven that females experiencing repeated miscarriages have a 75% chance of carrying another pregnancy to term. Most women who take reasonable preconception attention when trying to conceive after miscarriage do go on to have healthy babies and even women with history of repeated miscarriages managed to stop miscarriage.

The right period for getting pregnant after miscarriage depends on physical and emotional factors.

Physical preparedness takes on an important role when trying to conceive after miscarriage because whether or not it had been a spontaneous miscarriage or that treatment for example dilation and curettage (D&C) was necessary, the phase at which the gestation was lost will impact the time, that hCG (pregnancy hormones) reside in your body. Usually, your system’s normal hormones will require a month to 6 weeks to return to normal level. If you do not allow your hormones to stabilize before trying to conceive after miscarriage, the pregnancy test kit will show a positive even when you aren’t actually expecting.

D&C won’t weaken your cervix and increase your odds of miscarrying in future conception. For ladies getting pregnant after miscarriage, this is 1 huge psychological hurdle. D&C nevertheless can thin your uterus lining. As a result, it is recommended to permit your uterus to recover for approximately 3 months before trying to conceive after miscarriage. If the endometrial lining isn’t given sufficient time to heal, not only will you not stop miscarriage, the following pregnancy might end in miscarriage as well.

Under typical conditions, our body is extremely responsive. If it registers hCG (pregnancy hormones), it’s going to function to nourish the foetus. Conversely, it will work to generate ovulation cycle. Letting your hormonal level to resume to normal before trying to conceive after miscarriage will therefore definitely avoid sending confusing messages and allow your system enough time to recover and strengthen in preparation for carrying the following pregnancy.

A woman’s cycle will usually resume a month after the miscarriage, although it might require yet another two months before the cycle begin to follow a regular pattern again. A number of females do experience inconsistent cycle thereafter or may not have a cycle for many months to come and so getting pregnant after miscarriage seem very unlikely. It is popular for women with in such predicament to seek help particularly from Tradtional chinese medicine who has established fertility remedy therapy for managing ovulation.

The psychological recovery to getting pregnant after miscarriage is one area that couples will have to handle themselves simply because medical doctors acknowledge the need for emotional recovery before trying to conceive after miscarriage but they are basically incompetent in this area since it goes over and above their ‘bones and tissues’ knowledge.

Talking about it and encouraging each other is the best method to overcome the grief and anxiety of future miscarriages.

I'm glad you took the time to read this informative article about after a miscarriage. I certainly hope that you found the information as interesting as I did. If you did, why don't you leave me a message, as I would love to hear your thoughts on this. :-)

Estrogen Infertility And How It Affects You

Posted by on Monday, 8 November, 2010

Several factors contribute to infertility and estrogen infertility is just one of them. Every one of the many hormones involved in reproduction plays an essential role and estrogen is the key female reproductive hormone, sort of like what testosterone is for men. Signs that you lack estrogen is seen such as frequent headaches, night sweats, hot flashes and even vaginal dryness. It is also notable that low quantities of estrogen can lead to infertility in varied ways:

Because estrogen directs the uterus to form a lining that receives the zygote, even if every other process has succeeded before that, if there is not enough lining then the fertilized egg won’t implant in the uterus’ wall.

Estrogen stimulates the mucus that goes out of the cervix to make it less gelatinous and easier for the sperm to swim through for it to reach the ovum.

Having low estrogen could cause you not to ovulate.

Having high levels of estrogen relative to progesterone will also cause you some difficulties. There is risk for estrogen dominance if you are not eating properly, under stress, obese or exposed to other sources of estrogen. This may be through hormone replacement therapy or through environmental sources. This too can cause estrogen infertility if you are not cautious.

So how would you know if you have excessive supply of estrogen? You will experience heart palpitations, excessive weight gain, depression, irregular periods, swelling, cyclical headaches, constant nervousness and some digestive problems. But all these symptoms may also mean low estrogen level so you have to get yourself checked every so often.

Significant note: having the appropriate concentration of estrogen is often needed for fertility. Having either high or low estrogen levels bring about the same result: estrogen infertility. The good news is that this may be prevented through medication and with the right supervision and it won’t obstruct pregnancy. Natural remedies abound and they are useful. Tofu and yams are known for estrogenic value but not many medical literature has publicize their benefits.

Indeed it is important from a medical point of view to diagnose and treat low estrogen levels since this may cause emotional and psychological problems from late puberty and also hampered fertility. When you are suspecting an infertility problem, take note that there are certain things to consider such as cervical mucus changes. Taking your basal body temperature and noting cervical position changes is important because such information can be very helpful in detecting and treating fertility related problems.

In conclusion, there can never be a better answer to the issue of estrogen infertility than knowing your body very well and whatever warning signs it may be sending off towards your direction.

Step 1:  Change your lifestyle

  • Start by writing your lifestyle diary, such as your medical and family history questionnaire.  Also, this may include your elimination or reduction of tobacco, alcohol, medication and certain recreational drugs and also avoiding certain environmental toxins, especially within the workplace.
  • Be prepared to make some personal lifestyle changes in key areas

  • Reduce your caffeine consumption and any snacks you consume with your daily coffee or caffeine drink
  • Include more fresh food with as little additives as possible into your diet
  • Start taking a daily dose of vitamins and mineral supplements, especially Folic Acid

Step 4: Improve your Environment

  • Try and avoid contact with any toxic chemicals in your home and also your work environment
  • Make sure you discuss any concerns with your Doctor and also your employers
  • Get your renovations completed and make sure your home is properly ventilated
  • Use leafy plants in your home to help neutralize a static environment

Step 5: Stay Positive and Relax

  • Learn to share your concerns with your partner to help eliminate stress
  • Find ways where both your partner and yourself can relax
  • Start a gentle exercise routine together

When it comes to giving yourself the fertility boost, making some lifestyle changes can be a series of small steps rather than taking a great leap.  Don’t try and do everything at once.  Break down your targets into manageable sizes and actions and chart your progress, giving yourself some rewardable treats along the way.  This will be great to keep you motivated.

Fertility boost is all about recognizing some bad habits and introducing some healthy and new ones.  This can be as simple as introducing some organic fruits into your eating plan and making sure you do at least 30 minutes of exercise per day.

Various Types Of Infertility Cure

Infertility is the lack of ability of a woman to have children and a man to get his wife pregnant. Both the man and the woman might be able to conceive with a different partner.A woman who suffers from frequent miscarriages may be infertile. Generally, infertility is considered as a condition of a couple rather than as an individual. Infertility may be temporary and treatable, or in worst case scenario, it would be permanent. This is what they call sterility.

For lucky couples, there is an infertility cure. For those women who have reproductive organ disorders like having blocked fallopian tubes, you have to have surgery. Doctors prescribe antibiotics to cure reproductive system infections.Treating the hormones can be a good infertility cure caused by improper functioning of the glands.

Scientists have also developed various techniques that couples would be able to use to overcome infertility. The procedure known as artificial insemination is a good option. This involves to inject semen in the woman’s uterus.Semen can come from the woman’s partner but it can also come from a male donor. There’s a technique called in vitro fertilization wherein the woman’s eggs are made to unite with the sperm of her partner in the laboratory.Fertilized eggs are then injected in the woman’s uterus so that one of these would turn out to be a normal fetus.Babies born out of in vitro fertilization are known as test tube babies.

When the cause of your infertility is not severe, you may opt for alternative infertility cure.Sometimes you can doubt about stress causing infertility but in some cases it just leads to infertility. You can beat stress by relaxation. Other factors that cause infertility would be obesity or being an underweight. If you are trying to get pregnant you have to be aware of your food intake, not too much and not too little. It’s best to consult a nutritionist to be able to know what food to eat when you are trying to conceive.Take note that smoking and drinking too much alcohol can cause infertility. So if you want to be with child, try to keep away from them. You must see your doctor regularly to know more about infertility cure.

Pregnancy and Conception

Understanding Pregnancy and Conception

How the process of pregnancy and conception works!

Pregnancy and conceptionConception is the first stage in a baby’s 9 month journey through pregnancy.  It all begins at the fertilization stage – where sperm and ovum unite, and this marks the start to a new and exciting  beginning – human life!  This process continues rapidly until the dividing cells that forms the tiny embryo implants itself into the protective and nourishing environment of the endometrium lining of the woman’s uterus.

When a man ejaculates into a woman during intercourse, the semen spurts out into the top layers of the woman’s vagina and deposits literally millions of sperm.  This may seem like an astonishing amount considering that there is just one ovum waiting to be fertilized, but there is generally a 99% chance that the remainder of the semen will drain away from the vagina after intercourse.

Pregnancy and conception – a sperm’s journey

Of the 500 million or so sperm released with each ejaculation, only around 100 will survive the journey up through the uterus and the Fallopian tubes to the meet the waiting ovum or egg.  Some sperm will enter the cervix directly after ejaculation, but the majority will start their upward battle around 5 to 40 minutes after ejaculation, where the semen literally liquefies after initially clotting.

In the days that are leading up to the woman’s ovulation, her mucus forms penetrable swimming channels through her cervix.  The prostaglandin hormones that are found in the man’s semen will help the sperm travel towards the site of fertilization by causing the muscle contractions in the uterus and the Fallopian tubes, which brings the sperm and ovum much closer together.  Some sperm may reach the Fallopian tube within a few minutes of ejaculation, where others, may take a bit longer, say a day or two.  This means that some sperm are capable of fertilizing an ovum up to 5 days after intercourse.

The sperm is nourished on its journey by the secretions in the seminal fluid and the cervical mucus.  For example, one chemical from the epididymis which is also known as carnatine helps the sperm mature, while the zinc rich prostatic secretions will protect the sperm from certain infections.  The sperm will also benefit from certain chemicals that are found in the cervical and uterine fluids, making it possible for the sperm to penetrate the ovum before the actual fertilization.

The process of this stimulation is commonly known as capacitation, which causes the outer layer of the sperm head (the acrosome tip) to leak some potent enzymes that will help dissolve the membrane surrounding the ovum.

Once the sperm makes contact with the ovum, their enzymes will break down and the sperm enters the woman’s ovum, leaving it’s tail behind in the process.  (this will contain the father’s 23 chromosomes) The successful sperm will then stimulate the ovum to finish the second meiotic division, so that the 23 single chromosomes from the mother’s gene pool appear.  At this magical moment, all other sperm are excluded and the genetic material from the father’s sperm and the mother’s ovum fuse together to form a new and unique combination.  This newly fertilized ovum will now contain the 46 chromosomes with all the genetic material needed to divide, grow and develop into a perfectly formed human baby!

When it comes to pregnancy and conception, it’s important to understand the journey that the sperm takes to finally and successful reach its destination.  The sperms journey to reach the ovum or woman’s egg is a uphill struggle, filled with many hurdles, and the successful sperm who finally makes it to the ovum, has the capacity to create a new life.  Pregnancy and conception is a journey of life, that begins with one sperm’s journey.

The magic of pregnancy and conception is something that we should never take for granted, as it’s an amazing achievement with the sperm only having one goal in mind – implant into the ovum!

I hope you enjoyed reading about the wonderful journey of pregnancy and conception!

Trying to Conceive Tips?

Alternative Options For Trying To Conceive And Have a Baby..

Here are Five Alternative Steps for Trying to Conceive

Alternative Options For Trying to Conceive

Trying to ConceiveFor many couples, having a baby is a dream come true. Unfortunately, it doesn’t always happen. If you’re finding it hard to get pregnant, then there are many alternative methods that you can discuss with your physician and partner.  Trying to conceive when you are both emotionally stressed can only add to the problem.

Who’s responsible for not getting pregnant? There isn’t any reason to find yourself in that kind of debate. Either partner, or perhaps equally both partners, could possibly have health concerns that create a roadblock regarding a successful conception. The actual emotional stress involved when attempting to conceive could possibly make things worse. Lets forget about pointing fingers and examine these alternatives for trying to conceive and get pregnant.

1. In-Vitro Fertilization – This fertility technique has been around and used for many years now, with a lot of enhancements added over the years. To put it simply, this method is utilized to bring together the egg and sperm outside of the body. Occasionally, but not always, the problem is with the system of reproduction instead of the egg or sperm by itself.  The eggs are removed from the women’s uterus and placed in a solution together with the male’s sperm. The eggs are then fertilized by the sperm and subsequently inserted back into the women’s uterus for possible, and hopefully a successful implantation into the uterine wall.

2. Donor Eggs – Yes, there’s a procedure for acquiring eggs from another woman. This would be similar as when men donate their sperm to a sperm bank. In this case the problem is with the eggs and by simply using another women’s healthy eggs, which are combined with their partner’s sperm.  This may be another alternative regarding you and also your partner. In-vitro fertilization methods are widely used to implant the fertilized egg into the uterus.

3. Artificial Insemination – This method can be used by any women who desires a child but doesn’t have a male partner or maybe whose male partner can’t provide the sperm. Women in these types of circumstances get the chance to select the sperm from a sperm bank or, in some instances, a donor that has decided to supply the sperm. As soon as the woman is ovulating, the sperm is inserted into the uterus or perhaps the cervix, hopefully to bring the egg and also the donated sperm together for fertilization.

4. Surrogate Birth – Women who simply cannot get pregnant or carry a pregnancy to term, may possibly consider getting in contact with a surrogacy network. In such cases, a woman will act as a surrogate and contract together with the couple to carry their child. This process requires artificial insemination while using the partner’s sperm. This particular method of childbirth might be problematic from a legal viewpoint. There has been cases of court battles regarding the legal rights of the surrogate versus the contracting family.  This specific method should always include your attorney and also a reputable surrogate agency right right from the start of negotiations.  Just to be on the safe side.

5. Intrafallopian Transfer – This kind of technique entails extracting an egg and also the sperm and reintroducing them into the fallopian tube at different stages to encourage fertilization and implantation to happen naturally. To begin with, the egg and sperm are injected into the fallopian tube and secondly, the two are allowed to fertilize outside the body and are re-injected into the fallopian tube the moment the zygote phase is achieved.

In the event the traditional method is no longer working for both of you, there are many alternatives available now when you are trying to conceive a child.  Begin by first talking to your physician or medical practitioner as soon as you realize that you’re starting to become discouraged and possibly even depressed. Your medical professional can help reduce your fears and will also be able to guide you when it comes to choosing the best solution for you and partner for trying to conceive and start a family.

For alternative treatments, consider a more holistic approach.  Pregnancy Miracle is a scientifically proven program that helps women become pregnant naturally, by first re-balancing their body with natural foods.  This creates a healthier environment from which healthy fertilisation happens.  Learn more here on trying to conceive.
